Three diners came for dinner, found both the first and second floors full, took the last open table and ordered a medium bossam (steamed pork with wraps), two servings of kalnakji (spicy octopus noodles) and drinks, which came with unlimited barley rice and kimchi the restaurant says it makes daily. It's Daseon Kalguksu! It's already so famous that I really wanted to try it, but guess what — I went for dinner and even though it's a two-story building, every single seat was taken?!! We managed to snag the last open table and had a delicious meal~~ We ordered three menu items and they were so good I was genuinely shocked 😄 Let me introduce Daseon Kalguksu, a Korean restaurant near Gyodae Station! ## Where is Daseon Kalguksu? They say it's a 25-year-old seafood kalguksu restaurant, and besides the noodles, their jeon (pan-fried pancake), bossam, and sukhoe (blanched seafood) are also famous, so you could really just order whatever suits your taste~~ There were three of us — guess what we picked! - Bossam (medium) - Kalnakji (spicy octopus noodle soup) x2 - And drinks, drinks, drinks.... ### Unlimited barley rice and kimchi made fresh every day The barley rice and side dishes came out right after we ordered!! And get this — the barley rice was unlimited refill!! But everything was served in such generous portions that we couldn't even manage a refill haha! It was spicy and so delicious, and apparently they make it fresh every single day!! Amazing!
