Beyond that, there's an array of dishes — eggplant in fish-fragrant sauce, sweet and sour pork (kkwabaerou), mapo tofu, yurinki, plus dim sum, soups, and noodles. In particular, the cucumber and scallion cut through the duck's inherent richness, so it wasn't as greasy as I expected. Large chunks of fried eggplant were generously topped with fish-fragrant sauce, giving a sweet-and-sour flavor with a slight kick of spice. The sauce can be divisive, but my husband, who usually dislikes eggplant in fish-fragrant sauce because of that distinctive sauce, said this one was good! I already love the dish, so I enjoyed it even more haha.
