I went at around 5 p.m., and almost everything was sold out, so there weren’t many choices left. I recommend going early, everyone. I recently tried making madeleines and financiers myself. Maybe that’s why I looked at them more closely. (Making them is fun, of course… but it reminded me once again of the undeniable truth that buying them is so much easier—and delicious 😂) The cute, round salt bread also looked so tempting! I took a quick photo of the menu, too. Ingredient quality: The moment I took a bite, I thought, “Wow, they really use good ingredients here!” The butter aroma was so rich, with none of that artificial taste at all. Madeleine (filled with cream!): What makes Fluffy Bake Shop’s madeleines special is the cream inside! Sweet cream and the soft cake came together beautifully, making them taste far richer than an ordinary madeleine. Financier: The textbook version of chewy outside, moist inside! The more I chewed, the more nutty butter flavor came through, and I enjoyed it so much. Canelé: Honestly, I can’t even bring myself to make canelés at home. (The molds are expensive, and the process is complicated 😅) I was so happy to have a proper canelé for the first time in ages.
