Parking is available too, which makes it a great spot for a date or a family meal! There were actually lots of families there on Saturday evening. The miso soup was not salty at all—its seasoning was just right—and the nutty sesame dressing on the salad was so good that I finished it before the sushi even came out, haha. Elephant Sushi uses fresh fish aged at low temperature, and they say they adjust the salt level and aging time depending on the species. The tuna was beautifully fatty, yet it did not linger heavily in my mouth—it just melted away. It had the pleasantly sweet flavor of egg bread, but it was not overly sweet, so it worked well even in the middle of eating sushi. The rice did not cover up the fish’s flavor, and the fish-to-rice balance was just right in one bite. I left Elephant Sushi in such a good mood after having great sushi for the first time in a while! It is in the basement of KT Tower, connected to Gwanghwamun Station, so it seems like a good choice whether you visit for lunch, dinner, or a work gathering.
