When you're getting around with a kid, having easy parking actually matters a lot, and with plenty of space I felt no stress even before going in to eat. The gaps between tables weren't cramped either, so it was comfortable eating with my child, and it had a relaxed atmosphere for families to sit and eat together. At gukbap restaurants the banchan (side dishes) can sometimes feel like they were made ahead of time, but the ones served that day felt warm and fresh, as if freshly made. If you like sundae, the amount here would make you happy. The savory broth and toppings worked well together, and it had the comforting flavor typical of a white (clear) gukbap, so even my child could eat it without any trouble. The roomy seating made it comfortable to visit as a family, and the adults could eat a filling, warm bowl of gukbap too. If you're staying at Alpensia Resort and looking for a filling meal nearby, it's worth a visit. The breakfast at Alpensia isn't great, honestly 😅 — so unless it's included in your stay, stop by here on your way out!
