## In short

Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in the Bangi-dong food alley in Songpa, Seoul, filling an entire building from the basement to the second floor. A couple ordered the 550g Korean pork (hanmeat) sampler, honeycomb pork skin, caviar cheese egg custard and Yukmong cold buckwheat noodles, all grilled at the table by staff, and the pre-seared pork skin dipped in soybean flour was the standout. Worth a stop near Seokchon Lake if you want a grill house that cooks the meat for you.

A Bangi-dong restaurant recommendation: Yukmong.

I stumbled onto Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch while looking for somewhere to eat dinner near Seokchon Lake! If you're looking for a Korean BBQ place in Bangi-dong that grills for you, I'll leave my honest review here.

## Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch: hours, address and what to know

- Location: 9-13 Ogeum-ro 15-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, basement–2nd floor
- Hours: Daily 12:00 - 24:00
- Break time: Mon–Fri 15:00 - 17:00
- Ordered: Korean pork sampler [550g] + honeycomb pork belly skin + Yukmong cold noodles + caviar cheese egg custard + rice + drinks

## Where is Yukmong in the Bangi-dong food alley, and is there parking?

![Exterior of Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch inside the Bangi-dong food alley](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-02-vchqc-900.webp)

Yukmong sits deep in the Bangi-dong food alley, surrounded by a row of restaurants and bars, but its clean exterior still stood out ✨. It occupies the entire building from basement to second floor, so it looked pretty large from the moment I saw it.

![Full view of the Yukmong building, used from basement to second floor](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-03-1yeol-900.webp)

Apparently a lot of groups and company dinners come here too, and since it uses a whole building, the space definitely feels more spacious than a typical Bangi-dong Korean BBQ place 👍 Also, finding a restaurant with parking in the Bangi-dong food alley is surprisingly hard, so it was nice that Yukmong has space for about 4 cars in front 🅿️🚘🚘🚘🚘 That said, it's not huge, so if it's full you'll need to use a nearby public or private lot — good to keep in mind!

## First-floor sofa seats and the banchan side dishes

Walking in, the first thing I saw was the neatly arranged first-floor hall! The interior was bigger and more comfortable than I expected, with an overall upscale, calm feel rather than the usual chaotic BBQ-joint vibe haha.

We'd reserved ahead and were seated on the first floor, where every table had comfy sofa seating, so we could eat in comfort ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

The basic side dishes were already set up right on time, with a nice variety that paired well with the meat,

and there was even seasoned raw crab and japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), so it was fun trying a bit of everything 👏👏👏

### Private rooms and corkage at Yukmong Bangi

Yukmong isn't just the 1st and 2nd floor halls — it also has private rooms on the basement level, which seemed great for family dinners or Bangi-dong company get-togethers. The basement has rooms for 4 and 8 people, and both the 2nd floor and basement can be booked out entirely. Corkage is also free for one bottle, so keep that in mind if you're planning a group dinner or gathering!! 🌟 (₩10,000 per bottle from the second one on)

## What we ordered: the 550g Korean pork sampler

![Yukmong menu listing Korean pork, hanwoo beef and seasonal raw fish platters](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-08-7j2hs-900.webp)

![Side menu and drinks list at Yukmong](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-10-hj276-900.webp)

One thing that stood out about Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch is that you can get everything from Korean pork to hanwoo (Korean beef) to seasonal raw fish platters all in one place. So unlike a typical grill house that's just about the meat, this one lets you enjoy a real spread of delicacies — a big plus! We ordered the Korean pork sampler [550g] + honeycomb pork belly skin + Yukmong cold noodles + caviar cheese egg custard + rice + drinks. It's just the two of us but we were starving, so we ordered enough to feed three, easily 😋😆🤩

![Table set with the ordered Korean pork sampler and side dishes](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-11-neoho-900.webp)

This is the Korean pork sampler!!

![550g Korean pork sampler with sliced pork belly, whole pork neck and skirt meat](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-12-10gp6-900.webp)

The pork sampler lets you try three cuts at once — sliced pork belly, whole pork neck, and skirt meat — so it was nice being able to switch between the three little by little.

![Soybean paste stew with a large radish chunk, served with rice](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-13-7s578-900.webp)

The set also came with a soybean paste stew, which had a generous amount of meat in it,

and above all, there was a huge whole radish chunk in there — I was genuinely stunned by the size lol. I really thought, wow, they don't hold back on ingredients here 😆

The rice bowl was also packed pretty generously haha. As a carb lover, rice is an absolute must when eating meat..!!🍚

## Tableside grilling service by Yukmong staff

As I said at the start, one of Yukmong's strengths is the tableside grilling service!

We didn't have to grill anything ourselves — staff cooked each cut to the right point and served it to us, so we could eat completely stress-free d=(´▽｀)=b They flipped the meat at just the right moments, so all we had to do was enjoy it haha.

![Three pork cuts grilled and plated by staff, ready to eat](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-14-1rfsm-900.webp)

Once it's all grilled, they arrange it nicely for eating like this~~! They cooked and served it bit by bit as we ate, so the amount in the photo isn't the full total.

*Skirt meat*

![Close-up of grilled Korean pork from the tableside grilling service](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-19-qm56x-1200.webp)

We alternated between the three cuts and all of them were delicious, but our favorite was the whole pork neck (snowflake-marbled neck). Neck meat can turn out dry if it's cooked wrong, but thanks to the skilled staff grilling it, it stayed juicy and full of flavor — really good.

![Yukmong cold noodles served alongside the meat](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-20-1xvmh-m-900.webp)

![Caviar cheese egg custard topped with caviar](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-21-c1yaf-900.webp)

And having the cold noodles, egg custard, and soybean paste stew alongside rice in between bites made the meal feel a lot more well-rounded 👍

The caviar cheese egg custard especially caught my eye — I'd never seen egg custard topped with caviar before, so the look alone was surprising. With caviar on top of the savory egg custard, it looked pretty upscale too 😮💓

## Honeycomb pork skin dipped in soybean flour

After we finished the meat, they swapped the grill plate and grilled the honeycomb pork belly skin for us too!

![Honeycomb pork belly skin placed on a fresh grill plate](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-23-1rn1j-900.webp)

They said they pre-sear one side of the fat so it grills up well, and sure enough, they grilled the skin until golden and cut it into bite-sized pieces for us, so it was easy to eat 👏👏

![Thick honeycomb pork belly skin served with soybean flour](https://img.superchart.com/images/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner/yukmong-bangi-pork-skin-dinner-24-12xpi-831.webp)

The pork skin was on the thicker side, and dipping it into the soybean flour that came with it added a nutty flavor that made it even better 💓 My husband, who's normally a fan of pork belly skin, was extra satisfied, saying he loved how chewy it was here lol. I'm not usually someone who eats pork skin much, but out of curiosity I tried a piece that day and finally understood why people like it. Turns out Yukmong is a spot worth visiting for the pork skin too 😆haha.

## Verdict: a Seokchon Lake–area grill house that cooks for you

We found Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch while just looking for a Bangi-dong Korean BBQ spot and went in without high expectations, but we ended up eating well from the meat to every side dish!!😋✨ Above all, having staff grill everything from start to finish made it so easy — we could just relax, chat, and eat.

With the Korean pork sampler plus egg custard, soybean paste stew, cold noodles, and pork belly skin, the two of us ate until we were completely full, and the spacious restaurant seemed like a good fit for family dinners or company gatherings too. With pork, hanwoo, and even raw fish options, there's plenty of variety if you're coming with people who have different tastes. If you're near Seokchon Lake or the Bangi-dong food alley looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant that grills for you, this one's worth a visit! 🥩
