It is somewhere we often visit for family gatherings in Nowon because the unlimited food is tasty and good quality. It is on the 6th floor of Seoul Oncheon Building, opposite Hanshin Dongseong Apartments in Nowon, and it occupies the entire floor—as you would expect from such a popular sushi buffet. There were quite a few people from the entrance onward, probably because it was around weekend lunchtime. You can join the waitlist through Catchtable, but I recommend booking through Naver for a faster entry. Behind the building, by the Seoul Oncheon Building parking lot, there is an entrance leading underground. Maybe because it was the weekend, but when I spoke to the parking attendant, they directed me downstairs. Thankfully, there were plenty of spaces even during the day on a weekend. When leaving after your meal, tell the counter the last four digits of your vehicle number for two hours of free parking. You can also get an instant ₩5,000 discount when paying with a Toss Face Pay account or money balance. The interior was really spacious. The natural wood-and-white décor felt cozy, and the wide spacing between tables made it comfortable. It was divided into three hall areas: with the food stations spread out from the entrance through the center, there were large halls on both sides, plus a smaller hall and rooms at the side. The halls can apparently be used as separate event-like spaces for 50, 80, or 300 people. The rooms were quite large, seemingly used for company dinners, birthday parties, and other celebrations, with around 40–60 seats. They can accommodate up to 200 people, so they seem ideal for gatherings! High chairs and children’s spoons and forks were the first things I noticed. There is also a clean kids’ café-style playroom for children up to age 7. Everything was made with fresh ingredients, so every bite had that nice, pleasantly chewy texture and tasted great. The flounder, salmon, and shrimp sushi in particular had been upgraded with larger, higher-quality toppings—I almost wondered whether it was okay to eat such precious sushi this big. At Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, I found new items unique to this location, including thick-cut fresh salmon sashimi! The large salmon sashimi was low-temperature aged for deeper flavor and even better freshness. It is expensive when you buy it separately... so I happily ate loads of it, haha. There was smoked duck, lamb chops, and LA galbi (Korean-style grilled beef short ribs), all things children like. The smoked duck especially was not like the kind I grill at home—it was properly thick, with such a fun chew. If you order Terra or Kelly draft beer, you can drink unlimited amounts regardless of the number of glasses. My husband was so disappointed that he could not drink because he was driving. But you know, there is a separate stomach for meals and another for dessert, right? We had eaten happily, so it was time to fill the dessert stomach. Usually at buffets like this, there are only sodas and juices, which can leave adults a bit disappointed. Here, though, there were many kinds of herbal tea, which was lovely for refreshing your palate during the meal. But the thing that made me gasp and immediately call my son over was ice cream! And not just any ice cream—they had Dippin’ Dots! Whenever we go to an ice cream shop, he gets completely obsessed with Dippin’ Dots and chooses them first, and there they were! I told him he could have some only if he ate well, so he ate enthusiastically and polished off his ice cream, too.
