It is apparently already famous among workers at the nearby digital complex, so I went on a date there with my husband. Monday–Friday hours are 11:30–22:00, with a break from 15:00–17:00 and last orders at 21:30. Saturday hours are 11:00–20:00, with last orders at 19:30, and it is regularly closed every Sunday. Since the two of us visited for lunch, we picked the kaisendon (seafood rice bowl) and unagidon (eel rice bowl) from the sharing sets for two. The chicken itself was substantial, but this spicy, tangy, sweet sauce was the real kick. I do not usually like fried foods that much, but Gapposo’s pepper karaage has a thin coating, so it is not greasy, and that sauce makes it so easy to keep eating. We did not leave even a tiny bit behind—we cleaned the plate! And then, the long-awaited kaisendon. Those shrimp and eel in particular were seriously tasty. I cannot eat salmon roe if it smells fishy, but it was fresh, so I enjoyed it. They also give you a little soy-sauce pitcher, and you should lightly brush the sashimi with soy sauce before eating. The kaisendon had vinegared rice that goes with sashimi, while the unagidon had rice drizzled with soy-based seasoning. There was more rice than we expected, so my husband and I even left a little...?
