On a rainy weekday evening, I had two bowls of Kara Paitan and Tsukune Chashu on my third visit, with no wait. After work on a rainy, chilly day, I couldn’t be bothered to cook, and ramen was exactly what came to mind—so I messaged Gugu right away and we decided to meet at Oreno Ramen! Having such a great ramen spot in the neighborhood is just the happiest thing, hehe. ### Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong basic information It is at 366 Bulgwangcheon-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, South Korea, a 10-minute walk from Saejeol Station. It is open daily from 11:00 to 20:30, with a break from 14:30 to 17:00 and last orders at 20:00. There is room for one or two cars beside the restaurant; if it is full, I recommend Eungam 3-dong Public Parking Lot. I mentioned this in an earlier post, but I had already visited this ramen favorite several times on my own dime. Some reviews say it is a little less impressive than the original branch, but I only remember enjoying every visit..! As in the photo above, Kara Paitan has quite a deep red broth and is on the salty side, so keep that in mind!
