Bite into it and the sweet coating shatters, letting the chewy, plain flavor of the salt bread underneath come through — the outside bursts with a pleasant sweetness. The more you chew, the more the buttery flavor and salty edge of the salt bread come together, showing the perfect textbook example of sweet-and-salty. ### Golden cheese financier, better frozen There's a thick golden cheese chocolate coating on top of the financier plus a cracker-like topping, and it's genuinely amazing. One bite and you get a rich, salty golden cheese flavor — the characteristic saltiness and savoriness of golden cheese really comes through. The texture is crisp outside and soft inside, and it's especially insane when eaten frozen. ### Egg tart at BYWAY BAKERS With its golden-brown look and pastry-style crust wrapping the outside, it's not a light, thin tart shell but a tall, dense style — one is enough to knock you out. Cut it in half and it's packed with custard cream as moist as pudding. The moment it hits your mouth, the flaky crust shatters while the soft, pillowy custard filling comes through, with no egg-y smell at all — just pure vanilla bean flavor.
