Salering is a poke place near Gyodae Station. We came by car, and since parking is available right in front of the store, we could park easily and head in for dinner. I've eaten plenty of poke for lunch near the office, but this was my first time coming all the way to Gyodae Station for poke! My poke map keeps expanding..!!!! Since I eat a heavy lunch and try to keep dinner light on the stomach, I find myself craving poke a lot lately!! The inside was kept tidy, and the atmosphere didn't feel awkward for eating alone either. You can order at the kiosk or directly at the counter! Looking at the menu, there were way more options than I expected. There's salads, poke, soup, sandwiches, drinks, and slim-pack lunchboxes! For main toppings, there's chicken breast, smoked duck, beef brisket, jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork), salmon, steak, and more! There was a time when I tried a different combo every visit, but these days I'm stuck on smoked duck and only order that 😊 My boyfriend, though, went for the steak plus salmon combo! (Sauce options: Salering bibim sauce, gim sesame mayo, chili oil, basil garlic mayo, mala mayo, pollock roe wasabi mayo, yuzu oil, sweet soy, gochujang mayo, wholegrain oil, rosé onion) My boyfriend came here for diet management, but I just tagged along because I love poke — and it was so good!!🙋🏻‍♀️ It's especially great that you can manage your diet while on a date!! A satisfying menu for two people to share together! Besides salads and poke, there are also sandwiches, wraps, and more, so it seemed like a good place to grab a simple meal even without ordering poke.
