My sister got a volume magic perm along with a bit of a cut, and it turned out the stylist assigned to her, Donghan, was a slick cut master ㅠ Not quite NewJeans level but at least newsworthy — here's my recommendation for this Sinchon hair salon~

Inside there are about 8 seats~ the shampoo room has 3 chairs~ the interior wasn't much different from any other salon, and personally I tend to check whether cut hair is left lying on the floor ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ but they swept it up right away, so it was very clean, no such issue.

They brought out coffee / iced tea / roasted barley tea, and I really liked that they gave us coffee biscuits along with it ㅠ And what was kind of touching(?) was that since it wasn't just a cut, we ended up staying quite a while, and they asked, would you like more to drink~? ㅠ

## Consultation and the volume magic perm step by step

Before the treatment, they carefully asked about her current hair condition and past treatment history, and there was time for a thorough consultation about what exactly she wanted to change!!

So she could relax during the treatment(?), they clearly informed her of the price beforehand, and then started the treatment!!

Before - not curly, but her hair is thin and tends to puff up, and she wanted to make it calmer!!

Since she has a lot of hair volume, they started with thinning it out, and at this Sinchon hair salon Demon Hair, there's no extra cut fee when you get a perm. Total steal.

For drying and the main treatment, stylist Donghan led while the other staff kept helping throughout, with two people working on it together, so the magic perm didn't take too long, which was nice. Some salons apply the solution and just let it sit with no heat treatment, but here they did the heat treatment too~

I wasn't getting the treatment myself, just watching, but honestly their hands are fast. That said, it's not rushed or sloppy at all!!!!!! The stylists must have it harder, but sitting for a long time is no easy task either, so I really appreciated that the treatment didn't drag on — this Sinchon hair salon Demon Hair.

## After the perm: calmer roots and the front slick cut

After. Just like the before photo, I brightened it to 100% so the hair shows clearly, and even so, can you see how much calmer and neater the texture is...

And the bit of cutting that got added was a genius move. I mean, I've been getting the same layered cut at my neighborhood salon for years, but I seriously started considering getting a cut here next time. Since she didn't want to go shorter, they only cut the front section into that slick look, and the way it falls is so good ㅠㅠ

Even from the side you can clearly see that smooth cut texture, and even though her hair was short here, I think it would look gorgeous on long hair too!

## Would I go back to Demon Hair Sinchon Branch?

Slick cut master Donghan, please take care of my hair next time too. The perm turned out well, but honestly I don't have many failed perm experiences so I go in pretty relaxed about that part — it was really the cut that turned out so well!!!! that I want to come back just for a cut next time.

The friendly, easygoing-seeming(?) staff were great too. None of them felt sharp-edged... more like soft, somehow... Overall, Demon Hair Sinchon Branch was a great-value visit near Sinchon Station thanks to the 30% first-visit discount.
