## American-style pizza with bagel dough near Sillim Station

On Saturday evening, my in-laws and I were looking for somewhere near Sillim Station to have dinner and found this place 🍕 We heard it was somewhere you could properly enjoy American-style pizza, so we visited Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch (퍼그피자하우스 신림점).

I was especially curious about the generous toppings, of course, but also the fact that it uses chewy bagel dough instead of ordinary pizza dough.

As its name suggests, Pug Pizza House has a story involving an adorable dog 🐾 The owner created it to recreate in Korea the happy moments they felt eating pizza with their pet while traveling in the United States.

Best of all, it occupies an entire three-story building, so it was much bigger than I expected!

## A space with the feel of an American pizza joint

The first thing I noticed upon entering the first floor was the refreshing openness. The ceiling was quite high, making the space feel broad and airy, while doodle-like drawings on white brick walls and blue neon signs added accents throughout ✨

## Second-floor seating that was easy with a child

There are tables for two and four on the first floor, plus tables for six on the second and third floors. Since we came with a child, we were shown upstairs to the second floor.

When dining out with a child, you often find yourself conscious of the people around you, but our table felt somewhat separate, so we could eat more comfortably 😊

## Can you bring pets?

Pets are not permitted on the first or second floors, so even people who are afraid of animals can dine without worry. The third floor is run as a pet zone, with barriers in each area to keep pets from getting out, making it safe to use.

There is also a photo zone where you can make precious memories with your pet 📸🐶 It is an especially welcome space for anyone who wants to enjoy pizza with their pet and make the occasion feel special.

## Self-service bar and free dipping sauces

Each floor has a self-service bar where you can comfortably take what you need. It is stocked with tableware, disposable plastic gloves, wet wipes, pickles, and various sauces.

And here was another thing I loved! 💛 At most pizza places, you have to order dipping sauces separately or buy them, but Pug Pizza gives you a whopping four sauces for free 👏👏 Since my family loves dipping pizza in sauce, we really loved this, haha. And if you have sauce left after the pizza, they say you can take the sauce to go too! Such thoughtful service is the best 😆

If you want to try several things, I recommend a set with a half-and-half pizza and sides! Depending on the menu combination, you get ₩2,000 to ₩8,000 off, so ordering a set was much more economical than ordering several items à la carte, haha.
