Honestly, whenever I've consulted about red-toned dye anywhere, I tended to hear a bit of a worrying story — that the color could fade fast, or that it's hard to get exactly the shade you want. Lovely~ When the time came for shampooing, they gave me a proper treatment and scalp massage too, so I came in for a dye job and left properly healed lol lol lol. They also let me know in advance that red-toned dyes can bleed a bit at first. They said it might rinse out a bit for the first 3–4 washes and that drying it well at home would help lol. Knowing ahead of time how to take care of it afterward made me feel relaxed once I got home. ## Fringe trim and face-line shaping, cut to my taste Since I was already at the salon, I got a fringe trim too. Again, it wasn't just about asking for a length and cutting — she asked in detail about what styles I usually like and what feeling I wanted. After talking with me for a bit, designer Bandal asked if I was the type to just trust the stylist lol. > Yes... that's me. Once I trust someone, I'm usually the type to leave things to the professional rather than give detailed requests. I also liked the confidence I sensed from designer Bandal during the consultation. The more she explained, the more I felt like, 'ah, I can trust this person.' So I just left it in her hands lol. While trimming my fringe, she also shaped my face line, and I really loved it! She was also the one who touched up the root dye earlier, and her fingertips were really delicate during the blow-dry too. She gave the roots such great volume that I finally understood why people obsess over root volume lol. Once the roots had life in them, my whole head looked so much lighter and my face line looked naturally slimmer too. This is probably why you need the cut and the blow-dry done together! At the very end, designer Bandal finished the blow-dry with a C-curl, and the vibe changed dramatically once again. A next-level polished transformation!!!! If loveliness could be expressed as a person, it would probably be her lol. ## How the red-violet looks under indoor lighting versus daylight Honestly, I always thought red tones are gorgeous but hard to commit to. I was especially cautious this time since I'd recently done a tone-down dye because of the blotchy hair issue.
