I was looking for a decent-vibe Western restaurant in Nowon and this time ended up at Pasta Han Kki Nowon Main Branch. I thought it was a pasta-only place, but looking at the menu it turned out they also had pizza, gambas, salads, and steak dishes — quite a range. Everything starts at a very reasonable price, so it was great for ordering a bunch of dishes and sharing. It's also close to Nowon Station, so it's convenient to set as a meeting spot — a real Nowon restaurant find 👍 👍

Walking inside, the whole place felt clean and bright overall. There were several tables set up and the space felt comfortable without feeling cramped ^^

Garlic bread comes out before the meal, and wow haha, it was seriously delicious. My youngest, who said she wouldn't eat it because of the garlic, tasted it and then stole mine too 🤣

Eating it alongside the grilled vegetables too meant the flavors shifted a bit within a single plate, so it never got boring. Carbs, protein, and fiber all in one plate — pretty much a perfectly composed meal ~^^

The dish the kids were most excited for — carbonara. The special cream sauce comes topped with bacon and a poached egg, and just the smell was so savory 👍

Popping the poached egg and mixing the yolk into the sauce made it turn much thicker and richer. The savoriness of the cream sauce gets a boost from the soft richness of the yolk, and the salty bacon pops in between — the combo was really good! For me, mixing the egg in thoroughly was definitely the tastiest way to eat it 👍 👍
