Most of all, the bread was moist and fluffy, which I really loved. Earlier that same day at lunch I'd had a sandwich from a famous café — a sweet pumpkin sandwich with really delicious filling, but the bread was so chewy and tough it was uncomfortable to eat, so the comparison was immediate. This bread was genuinely good — it tore cleanly with each bite, which I appreciated. And the finish had this spicy note that made it clean and tasty ~~~~ which is probably why there was no greasiness even with the meat inside.
