## In short

Ttasijia Yeonnam is a Singaporean shrimp noodle restaurant in a Yeonnam-dong alley near Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station in Mapo, Seoul, and the first official Korean location of Singapore's shrimp house Da Shi Jia (대식가). Two of us shared the signature shrimp noodles with thin noodles, the shrimp broth fried noodles and a small black vinegar guobaorou, then finished with 100% fresh-pressed apple juice. With its patio tables outside, Ttasijia Yeonnam works well as a Yeonnam-dong evening date stop.

This is my review of Ttasijia, the Singaporean shrimp restaurant Tasijia known for its great atmosphere — a popular Yeonnam-dong date spot. It's the shrimp noodles that got famous after appearing on Sung Si-kyung's show Meokeultende. It's opened up in a quiet Yeonnam-dong alley!! Getting to try shrimp noodles made in the authentic Singaporean style felt really special. Apparently this is Korea's first official location of a restaurant that's been on the Michelin Guide for four years running. First time trying shrimp noodles and it was a total delicacy. Let me introduce Ttasijia Yeonnam, a Yeonnam-dong restaurant and Tasijia's shrimp dishes.

## Ttasijia Yeonnam hours and how to find it from Hongik Univ. Station

Ttasijia Yeonnam is open daily from 11:30 to 22:00, with a weekday break from 15:00 to 17:00. It's located in a quiet Yeonnam-dong alley that leads from Exit 3 of Hongik University Station.

The mood right from the entrance was so appealing my heart started fluttering with excitement.

### Patio tables and indoor seating at Ttasijia Yeonnam

Ttasijia Yeonnam has outdoor tent tables too, so it was perfect for a Yeonnam-dong outdoor date. The inner space was also cozy, so the whole atmosphere was great. The restrooms were separated by gender and had hand wash and hand towels, which was convenient before and after the meal. The staff were friendly too, which made the meal even more enjoyable and comfortable.

## Ttasijia Yeonnam menu and prices

From the cooked dishes, we ordered the small black vinegar guobaorou for ₩18,000 (medium adds ₩5,000), the signature shrimp noodles for ₩12,500, and the shrimp broth fried noodles for ₩16,500. There's also shrimp gukbap (rice soup) for ₩16,500, and shrimp fried rice for ₩15,000.

There's also a hawker-bites category with Singapore hawker center night-market style dishes, so chili clams, cereal shrimp, black vinegar guobaorou and the like would pair perfectly with a drink.

- Chili clam fried mantou ₩16,000
- Cereal shrimp ₩21,000
- Fried shrimp roll ₩10,000

It's such a great season for outdoor dining, so if you're looking for a Yeonnam-dong outdoor dining spot perfect for a date, this is the place.

## What two people ordered: shrimp noodles, shrimp broth fried noodles and small black vinegar guobaorou

![Table setting with two shrimp noodle dishes and small guobaorou](https://img.superchart.com/images/tasijia-yeonnam-shrimp-noodle-black-vinegar/tasijia-yeonnam-shrimp-noodle-black-vinegar-08-fokec-900.webp)

For dinner we ordered two shrimp noodle dishes plus a small guobaorou, and it was just the right amount for two people. Even the plates matched what you'd see at a restaurant in Singapore itself, so you can feel like you're in Singapore without actually traveling there.

### How was the black vinegar guobaorou at Ttasijia Yeonnam?

The guobaorou came out in two big chunks, and they gave us scissors and tongs so we could cut it into easy bites. We both genuinely fell for this Yeonnam-dong restaurant's black vinegar guobaorou. The deep, hearty tang of the black vinegar base got more appealing the more we ate it. Dipping it generously in the sauce was pure bliss. It came out piping hot, crispy outside and tender inside, and the meat quality was great too, so we really enjoyed it. A flavor I'd want to eat again on a repeat visit!!

### Signature shrimp noodles: why we picked the thin noodles

For this Yeonnam-dong restaurant's signature shrimp noodles, we chose the thin noodle option. My husband loved how great the thin noodles were, saying it was totally his taste.

I've never been to Singapore, so when I think of shrimp noodle dishes, the instant shrimp ramyeon comes to mind haha, but that's tasty in its own way — this is on a whole different level, right? We properly enjoyed the light, savory shrimp-based flavor with its subtle exotic aroma.

![Shrimp broth fried noodles with a shallow pool of broth](https://img.superchart.com/images/tasijia-yeonnam-shrimp-noodle-black-vinegar/tasijia-yeonnam-shrimp-noodle-black-vinegar-13-1bha8-900.webp)

### Shrimp broth fried noodles: brothy rather than dry

This one is the shrimp broth fried noodles, and the broth pools at the bottom, shallow and rich. My husband said it was even better than the shrimp noodles and gave it a thumbs up. The very first bite, eaten hot right when it arrives, is the tastiest moment!!

![Bouncy shrimp with cheongyang chili soy sauce](https://img.superchart.com/images/tasijia-yeonnam-shrimp-noodle-black-vinegar/tasijia-yeonnam-shrimp-noodle-black-vinegar-14-16rtw-900.webp)

The shrimp were sweet and bouncy — the only annoying part was peeling them, but they were truly delicious. It also came with cheongyang chili soy sauce, and adding a little bit gave it a spicy, delightful kick.

## Finishing with 100% fresh-pressed apple juice

To finish, this Yeonnam-dong restaurant's 100% fresh-pressed apple juice!! It really was refreshing, tangy, and sweet with a distinctive flavor, and genuinely delicious. Apparently it's the drink customers at the Singapore flagship store go for too, so it's worth trying at least once at this Yeonnam-dong date spot. It's also being offered as part of a photo review event, so go grab one!!

Make some fun memories at Ttasijia, the Singaporean shrimp restaurant Tasijia, where you can experience the taste of authentic Singaporean shrimp noodles right here in Korea.
