Set meals are also available for a hearty, generous spread: the bossam set, suyuk set, and Hantiok set. The bossam set is available from two orders and includes salad, tofu, dumplings, bossam, and your choice of guksu or gukbap. Andong guksu is described as a dish from the noble households of the Andong area, made with Grade 1++ Korean beef broth. Andong gukbap is said to have a deep flavor from Grade 1++ Korean beef, bean sprouts, dried napa cabbage greens, and green onion. Korean beef gomtang is a clear soup with boiled Grade 1+ or higher brisket and shiitake mushrooms, while Korean beef seolleongtang is made by simmering beef bones and mixed bones for 36 hours with beef brisket. The spicy pork stir-fry has a smoky flavor from Hantiok's special sauce. The menu notes that gondre rice is rich in protein, calcium, and vitamin A and may help lower cholesterol, circulation, and constipation. It was even better with just a little pepper from the table! The meat is seriously huge lol. With warm white rice, it was the kind of flavor that makes a bowl of rice disappear in no time..! The bossam kimchi was clumped together at first, but once I loosened it up (?) there was a huge amount. Personally, I recommend tasting the first bite simply with salted shrimp so you can really get the meat's flavor! Maybe that is why none of the side dishes were overly salty—they were seasoned just right. The lettuce was tender too, ideal for wraps. ### Large dumplings, 3 pieces ₩6,000 These large dumplings looked so moist that I could not not order them. They would be delicious dropped into beef bone gomtang too! The dumpling skin was chewy, and the filling was packed with meat, chives, and glass noodles.
