This is the tarae sauce, aged over 10 hours with about 30 kinds of medicinal ingredients — no seasoning added, so the taste is clean and not overpowering!! If you want more seasoning, you can add it to taste since it's provided at every table. I tried the eel plain first, and the hitsumabushi at Una Yongsan Main Branch, the eel rice bowl spot in Yongsan, has plump, long eel pieces, each one sizable. It comes cut into 7 pieces total, and the decoration on top is pretty too, giving it an upscale-dish feel ✨ There's a lot of egg used, so it's really thick, and the egg is fluffy and soft.. Thanks to the eel inside, it feels like a premium, nourishing dish — a special rolled egg I'd recommend as a side!
