## Robenta Seongsu, a ring workshop near Seongsu Station

While looking for a special anniversary date with my boyfriend, we realized we did not have couple rings—so we thought, let’s make them ourselves‼️ I searched for ring workshops in Seoul and found Robenta Seongsu, a Seongsu ring workshop with lots of reviews 🌀 Here’s my honest review after making rings there myself!

It is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Seongsu Station on Line 2, and it is on the third floor of the building.

The moment we walked in, the clean, bright atmosphere and great music put me in a good mood! There were plenty of seats, but it did not feel cramped at all. If anything, it felt like the kind of place that could bring you closer to the person you came with 💘

## Choosing the Aether design and measuring our sizes

You can try on samples of many ring designs and comfortably choose the one you want. We like simple, everyday designs, so we chose “Aether” 🌀 There were so many pretty options that I think it took us 20 minutes to decide. You can also choose glossy, matte, or diamond-cut shine!

The staff member explained everything in detail and measured our ring sizes so carefully! This was the first place I had seen check every little thing, from each person’s hand shape to daily habits, when sizing a ring. (They were sooo kind and sweet••🥹💘) Finally, it was time to start making our rings!

## My first couple-ring-making experience

Once everything was ready, it was finally time to make the rings! We pulled out a drawer unit to keep silver dust from sticking to our clothes, then put on cute aprons.

Once the rings in our chosen design came out, we got to use various tools to file them, smooth them, and polish them ourselves. The instructor demonstrated each step one by one, so even people worried about not being handy can come comfortably and enjoy the workshop experience.

Filing~ smoothing~ polishing~ I held a handpiece for the first time and tried sanding too. Time went by faster than I expected, and it was so fun! I kept thinking that I wanted to make it pretty, so I got completely absorbed in it.

We are a couple who really do not take photos, but on this unusual date at Robenta Seongsu, we somehow kept taking them! Making the rings together, checking each other’s rings, and talking more made me feel like we had grown closer? <3

We finished with the final polishing! The experience took about an hour, and then the professional crafting staff did a second round of finishing. Robenta Seongsu in Seongsu is the best. We spent the time waiting for our rings to be completed having lunch.

At Robenta Seongsu, you can make your rings and collect them in about 2 hours! Same-day completion is the standard, which makes it perfect for a Seongsu date. If your schedule is busy, delivery is also available for an extra ₩4,000.

They put the rings we made ourselves into a luxurious jewelry box and then into a mini handbag. The handbag held not only our rings, but also a Polaroid filled with our memories. (It had been so long since we took a photo that it felt a little awkward haha)

It was not simply a ring-making experience—I was so satisfied because it felt like we were looked after so we could spend quality time with someone special. The ring-making process was lovely, but even the service afterward was perfect. I definitely recommend trying this ring-making experience at Robenta Seongsu in Seongsu!
