My first visit was paid out of my own pocket, and the food and atmosphere left such a good impression that I remembered it fondly. Then this time, once I hit Black tier on Superchart, this place popped up! I was so happy to see it that I went back. After parking, you take an escalator up to the 3rd floor, passing flower displays along the way, and arrive at the restaurant. There's also an elevator, so strollers and wheelchairs can get in easily. After parking, just come in through the entrance marked "Magok Naru Station." I really liked that Romaok offers 2 hours of free parking. That's enough time to look around inside LG Arts Center or even visit Seoul Botanic Park afterward, instead of leaving right after the meal. The abalone had a nice chewy bite, and the pasta itself carried a strong abalone aroma. If you like that distinct abalone flavor, this dish will satisfy! And the Korean beef ragu fresh lasagna roll. The rich flavor of the Korean beef paired well with eggplant, and the fresh pasta sheets gave it a nice soft texture. It's a tomato pasta with shrimp, and the shrimp was really fresh with a nice snappy bite. Eating it, I thought, 'they really nailed the authentic Italian style.' The cuttlefish came with score cuts, and it was so tender and not chewy at all — if the server hadn't told me, I wouldn't have even known it was cuttlefish. That said, if your palate is used to Korean food, the seasoning might feel a bit strong. Personally, I love this kind of authentic-style dish, so I actually enjoyed it a lot. ### Crimson Moon semifreddo at Romaok Magok The meal ended with the Crimson Moon semifreddo. It's an ice-cream-cake-like dessert made with egg white meringue — not too sweet, soft, and refreshingly cool. Honestly, I was already pretty full by this point and planned to only have a little of the dessert. But it was so good I ended up finishing it all. 😂 Not too sweet, cool and soft — easy to eat even after a full meal. Personally, this was the most memorable dessert of the day! *Dessert menu items are 50% off if you have a same-day performance ticket. ## A chef from a two-Michelin-star kitchen, and a 2026 Blue Ribbon While looking into it again this time, I also learned something new. When ordering, they explained each dish carefully, and whenever I had questions, they answered in detail. It didn't feel like they were just bringing out what I ordered — they looked after us thoughtfully throughout the meal, and it genuinely felt like being treated well. On the other hand, if 3–4 people are dining together, the seating is arranged in a single row, so personally I wouldn't recommend it. For 3–4 people, I found the regular tables much more comfortable. Hope this helps when choosing your seat. ### The receipt review perk has changed On my first visit, writing a Naver receipt review got me a free iced americano. This time around, the receipt review perk had changed to a soda instead. Soda's nice too, but personally I preferred the iced americano after a meal, so it was a little disappointing. 😂 Hope they bring the americano back!! ☕️ ## Is Romaok Magok worth a second visit? My first visit to Romaok was completely unplanned, no information beforehand, just paying out of my own pocket. The food was delicious, but what really won me over was how thoughtfully they looked after us with a kid, the kind service, and the pretty atmosphere. And revisiting this time to try new dishes reminded me all over again why my first visit stuck in my memory. Most of all — even after two visits, there's still so much on the menu I haven't tried! Next time I want to try the steak and everything else I missed this time.
