Since we do not know when Maru will arrive, we have been trying to make as much time as possible to enjoy together before the birth. I have heard so many stories that once parenting begins, sleep and meals are the first things you give up, so I am determined to eat delicious things and go on plenty of dates before then. We had originally planned to have shrimp burgers for dinner that day, but while walking around Seongsu, we spotted a Western-style restaurant I had wanted to visit before. There was no wait, so after thinking it over, we went right in. Omil Seongsu does not have its own parking. If you are driving, I recommend Seongsu 2-ga 3-dong Public Parking Lot! It is about a one-minute walk from the restaurant, and at ₩150 per five minutes, it is relatively affordable compared with nearby lots. It is a good place to stop by when looking for pasta in Seongsu, and its neat atmosphere also makes it nice for brunch or lunch. ### Can you reserve Omil Seongsu? You can make a reservation through Catchtable. I visited once in summer, but the wait was so long that I could not handle waiting in the heat and eventually gave up. It had a lovely setting not only for special days such as blind dates, anniversaries, and birthdays, but also for a relaxed meal. It is also a good option for anyone looking for somewhere to eat with children in Seongsu. High chairs are available and the seating is comfortable, so I hear many families visit. As Omil Seongsu's signature menu, it was unbelievably cute from the moment it arrived. They were so adorable that I almost felt bad eating them for a while. The egg was fluffy, and the fried rice was salmon fried rice, so it had a deeper flavor than ordinary omurice. Couples can visit as we did and order the two-person set, or families can share several dishes. If you are looking for somewhere to eat with children in Seongsu, the high chairs and cute Rubber Duck menu make it seem like a good family dining choice too. I would recommend it both to people looking for a Seongsu brunch spot and to anyone planning a Seongsu date. I was even more pleased because we were lucky enough to walk in without waiting this time. Seongsu gets so busy on weekends that you have to expect a wait at popular restaurants, so I also loved that reservations are available. If you want pasta in Seongsu and are looking for something a little different, I recommend the gochujang butter pasta. And if you love cute food, the Rubber Duck omurice is absolutely worth trying at least once! We visited wanting to enjoy what felt like our last Seongsu date before Maru is born, and it was wonderful to eat delicious food, admire the cute Rubber Ducks, and spend relaxed time together for the first time in a while.
