This time we went to Onjeongban Shabu Kalguksu, and the portions were huge and delicious — we came home very satisfied. We eat out often on weekends. Grocery shopping, cooking, setting the table, cleaning up — it's such a hassle, so instead we go grab a good meal and look around a bit. We go to a lot of good restaurants in Namyangju haha. I found a great shabu-shabu spot and wanted to recommend it. But since we'd never tried the rolled dumplings (gurim mandu) before, I kind of regretted not ordering the dumpling set. We added rolled dumplings separately and they were so good. It seems like a great menu for bringing parents and grandkids together. The wrapper is so thin — how does it not tear? — and it's mild and clean-tasting.
