With the cool breeze of early autumn these days, I naturally start craving a spot that feels like sitting outdoors. While looking for somewhere near Olympic Park to have a light dinner with a beer, I headed to an alley near Bangi Station. Drawn in by the exterior with its folding doors wide open, I walked in without hesitation and took a seat.

Thanks to the high ceilings, the moment I walked in I felt a cool sense of openness with no stuffiness at all. The combo of pizza fresh from the wood-fired oven and a spicy pasta turned out even more satisfying than expected.

Hope So's Bangi branch is split across two floors, and the very high ceilings give it a charmingly open, unobstructed view.

The large folding doors were flung wide open, so it felt like sitting at an outdoor terrace catching the breeze.

On the second floor there's a big artificial tree, which made it feel cozy while also looking good for group gatherings or conversation.

The margherita (₩22,000) that arrived at our table came out well-baked from the wood-fired oven, crispy and chewy all the way to the crust edge.

Soft fresh mozzarella and basil were piled generously on top of the fresh tomato sauce, adding a clean, savory depth.

Next up, we tried the day's pasta special cream jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup, ₩14,900, Mon–Thu), which had a spice level around Shin Ramyeon level running through the cream base.

Plump shrimp, other seafood, and crunchy vegetables were packed in generously, giving a satisfying bite every time we scooped up the noodles.

Behind the nutty richness of the cream sauce, a spicy kick rose up cleanly, and I kept dipping my spoon back into the broth.

### A Bangi-dong date spot to settle into after an autumn night walk

It was a perfect route to take after a relaxed walk through Olympic Park, just a short stroll to stop by. We got to happily enjoy the clean taste of wood-fired pizza, an unusual cream jjamppong, and a cool beer all in one place.

It's a great spot to feel the early autumn night breeze and chat away, so I plan to come back next time I'm craving pizza and beer. If you're thinking about somewhere atmospheric near Bangi Station for a gathering or a date, it's worth a visit~
