Whenever I make plans in Yeonnam-dong, there are so many good places to eat that it can actually be hard to decide where to go, haha. Rather than ordering several pastas, I wanted one pasta and one meat dish, so that’s what I went with. First up, the chadol melchobi pasta I was curious about! The name itself is a little unusual, right? It’s pasta with chadolbagi (thin-sliced beef brisket), so I chose it because I wanted to try something a little different from ordinary pasta. Beef brisket was piled on top of the pasta, so the highlight was being able to eat meat with the noodles instead of just the noodles! I didn’t want to order only one pasta, so I added this meat dish. When you make plans near Hongik University Station, there are so many choices, from Korean and Japanese food to Western food. Among them, if you’re craving pasta but also want a meat dish, Rangteu Yeonnam could be one to put on your list! From the chadol melchobi pasta with beef brisket to the sous-vide pork belly steak, which offered a different way to enjoy pork belly! It was a pasta restaurant in Hongdae worth visiting when I’m craving pasta in Yeonnam-dong.
