Highly recommended as a great Chinese restaurant in Gongdeok! There was Sujeoga jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), white jjamppong, white-meat jjamppong, and old-style jjajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce). For dishes, there was garlic pork loin tangsuyuk (sweet-and-sour fried pork). It wasn't the glutinous-rice style you see everywhere these days, just classic tangsuyuk, but it was the kind of flavor that stayed on my mind. It was super crisp, while the sauce was wonderfully thick and sticky. My friend said eating it would turn you into a real person, lol. I like 60 Gye Chicken's chili chicken, and would it make sense if I said it has that sort of flavor? Next was the chadol jjamppong, Sujeoga's signature dish that you absolutely should not miss if you come here. The sight of the bowl piled high with chadolbagi (thin-sliced beef brisket) grabs your attention right away. Wrapping them with the brisket was delicious. Just note that this is a slightly thick(?) jjamppong broth. Even among the more showy dishes, this classic jjajangmyeon does its job perfectly. Order one jjamppong, scoop out some rice, and it becomes jjamppongbap... And there is no extra charge for a bowl of rice!! There are academies nearby, so it seems students from them come in, and lots of nearby office workers visit too. There is a coin laundry nearby, so I stopped by while doing laundry—but I want to eat here again next time. ## A great combination with chadol jjamppong If you love a rich, deep broth, the chadol jjamppong is a must. Pair it with the pungent, sweet garlic tangsuyuk and the balance is perfect.
