Steam rose the moment the lid came off~ I prefer pot rice over regular rice bowls, and the reason is the rice crust (nurungji)! You scoop the rice out of the pot separately, then pour in rice-crust tea (sungnyung) ahead of time. With whole pieces of aged kimchi in the pot, it looked filling just to see!
