This delicious-looking food is actually diet food! And it's a super healthy, tasty menu with protein content pushing close to 50g — let me introduce this Nowon Station salad spot I visited.

Prefers Diet Food Nowon Station branch just opened recently, so it's super clean. It opens at 9am, so I went early in the morning for a meal. Usually only bakeries or cafés open at 9, so it was great to be able to have an actual meal that early.

What impressed me a lot was that the protein content is listed right on the menu board. Portion size matters when you eat, but protein content matters just as much. They even sell protein shakes, so you can tell how serious Prefers is about protein, right?

Prices are reasonable too, so it seems like a great spot for anyone watching their diet or protein intake.

Prefers Diet Food Nowon Station branch is set up really well for solo dining. With 2-person and 4-person tables, it's fine for groups too, but great for eating alone. There's also bar seating where you can look outside while eating solo. Since it's newly opened, the store, tables, and chairs are all spotless and clean, of course.

## Beef wasabi rice bowl and pork salad pasta: how they tasted

What I ordered was the pork salad pasta and the beef wasabi rice bowl. When I think of a Nowon Station salad, I usually picture just leaves and grass, but a salad this healthy and packed with protein makes dieting seem not so hard.

There was truly no smell at all, and the cut of meat looked like flat iron steak — it was so tender it was just delicious through and through. Personally I liked it more than the pork, so I'd totally recommend ordering the beef.

There was plenty of meat and plenty of vegetables, so overall it felt like a really healthy meal. But it actually tasted good, so it didn't feel like typical diet food — more like just eating a genuinely tasty meal. I could eat like this every day. It's not just greens and meat but a rice bowl, so you get fullness too, which is really nice. I love rice bowls, so I was completely satisfied.

If you're looking for a Nowon Station salad spot, I recommend Prefers Diet Food Nowon branch, which goes beyond plain salad to give you plenty of protein and great flavor too. Prefers is actually a chain, and this was my first visit. But even as a chain, the quality is well maintained and it was so delicious that I think I'll come back again just for the taste, diet aside. I recommend this Nowon Station solo dining spot to anyone who wants a healthy, tasty meal on their own.
