## In short

Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch is a clam grill and steamed clam restaurant on the 3rd floor of a building at 116 Geobukseom-ro in Siheung, Gyeonggi. On a return visit with my parents, we ordered the broth steamed clams for two plus seafood ramyeon, parked on basement levels 1–2 of the building's Ibita parking tower and rode the elevator straight up to the 3rd floor. Staff trimmed the octopus and squid at the table, which made Bada Super an easy choice for a meal with older family members.

Geobukseom is the perfect drive destination near Seoul! Between the wide-open sea view and fresh seafood, this was the place I kept thinking about after my first visit. This time I brought my parents along for a second trip to this reliably hot Geobukseom clam restaurant.

## Parking at Bada Super: Ibita parking tower, basement levels 1–2

Bada Super Haemul Cheonha Jogaegui, Geobukseom Oido Branch, has plenty of parking, since you can use basement levels 1 and 2 of the building's Ibita parking tower. A lot of people drive here as part of a day trip near Seoul, so having a car is basically essential. I was worried about parking being a hassle with my parents in tow, but it was really smooth — we parked on basement level 1 and took the elevator straight up to the 3rd floor. The elevator and floor directory signs are clear and friendly, so even first-timers can find their way without wandering around.

## What the 3rd-floor dining room and sea view look like

Arriving at the 3rd floor entrance, there were comfortable waiting sofas set up for weekend queues — a sign this is a place that's been on TV. Inside, the high ceilings keep things from feeling cramped, and the wide table spacing makes it a really pleasant spot for a family meal. Cute little decor pieces and soft lighting add to the sophisticated feel you'd expect from a well-known Geobukseom restaurant.

Being able to eat while looking out at the wide-open view outside made my parents really happy.

## Tablet kiosk ordering, side dishes and the free tteokbokki

Once seated, you can order conveniently from a tablet kiosk at each table, browsing menu photos as you go. Beyond the restaurant's signature clam grill, there's a variety of dishes including broth steamed clams and a lobster special. Today, to enjoy the combination of hot broth and seafood, we ordered the broth steamed clams for two along with seafood ramyeon — perfect as both a meal and a side to go with it.

After ordering, they neatly set out sauce containers for chogochujang (vinegared chili paste) and soy sauce along with the tableware, and a spicy-tangy tteokbokki (rice cake) side dish arrived first as a service item to whet our appetite.

## Broth steamed clams for two: staff trim the octopus and squid

The pot arrives piled so full of ocean goodness — blue crab and more — that it nearly overflows.

A staff member poured in a clear, deep broth and kindly explained how to eat it. The big pieces of fully cooked octopus and squid were trimmed into bite-sized pieces by the staff themselves, which made it easy and comfortable for my parents to eat.

The plump scallops were tender yet chewy, and the broth — simmered with napa cabbage and seafood — was truly rich and deep. Dipping the chewy octopus into the cheese fondue doubles the savoriness, and that's when you really taste what makes this Geobukseom clam restaurant so good.

## Finishing the broth with seafood ramyeon

After enjoying the steamed clams for a while, the seafood ramyeon showed up — the essential Korean way to close out a meal. It's not just any ramyeon; it's loaded with fresh clams and seafood, so just one spoonful of the broth felt like it cleared out my stomach with that spicy, refreshing ocean flavor. Topped with crisp kimchi over springy noodles, it was the perfect finish — I kept reaching for more even though I was already full.

## Is Bada Super worth it with parents? Verdict and tips

- 100% parent approval — the spacious, pleasant interior, fresh seafood, and staff who trim the seafood for you make this a great restaurant to bring parents to.
