I looked up the shop because I was curious, and oh my gosh—it was practically right in front of me. How had I missed it all this time... honestly, I must have been blind with my eyes wide open. It has an orange-toned sign, and it stands out this much—huh?! How did I not see it?! I immediately understood why it is so popular. Seriously delicious... Inside the savory salt bread were fresh peaches and yogurt cream, with a chocolate Wakkppu topping... the combination was so much better than I expected. (I am serious right now...) It was the kind of thing that made me think, “I need to buy this again,” while I was still eating it. Just as expected, haha—it was delicious. They say the salt bread is made with natural butter; the outside was nicely crisp, while the inside was soft and moist. It was not a flashy flavor, exactly, but it was faithful to the basics and made even tastier by the natural butter. The kind of bread where, once you start, you finish it all. And the egg tart I had quietly debated getting... I am so glad I bought it, to the point that I wondered why I had hesitated. One bite, and the custard was unbelievably soft... Sweet, fluffy custard melted gently in my mouth, hahaha. Ah... so I really do like egg tarts...? 🤣 This is an egg tart gem in Byeollae... From now on, whenever I come here, I am absolutely getting one egg tart.
