I have sensitive skin with redness, and as I have gotten older, my skin has felt dry. Cleansing water applied with a cotton pad felt irritating on days when my redness was severe, and powder formulas felt similar. Cleansing oils or balm types therefore suited me better.

I used it on days when I wore contour makeup, blush, eyeliner, eyebrow makeup, and eyebrow mascara. It was fairly firm when scooped from the container, but once I applied it to my face and massaged it in with my hands, it softened smoothly like a nourishing cream.

It was the type that emulsifies like a cleansing oil when it meets water. I mainly emulsified it thoroughly before rinsing with water. On the day I filmed, I wiped it away with a sponge, and my makeup still came off cleanly; I also felt that some moisture remained after cleansing.
