The broth is less intense than naengmyeon's and the noodles are chewy with a great bite ~ why does Busan have so many good restaurants? Every place we ate at on this trip was delicious... Side dishes that go well with milmyeon and gukbap ~ raw onion and chili peppers, essential with gukbap, dipped in ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste) are absolutely rice-stealing good ~~ the pickled radish strips and kimchi that come alongside are also great! The cucumber and pickled radish come served separately rather than as a topping on the milmyeon, so you can add as much as you like! That's a lot for just a snack? Turns out, since there's no menu item combining milmyeon with meat, it was actually a strategic move to order suyuk baekban and wrap the pork in the milmyeon — big-picture thinking..!
