## In short

Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a 24-hour pork bone soup (ppyeo-haejangguk) restaurant in the Drama City building in Ingye-dong, Suwon. For dinner we ordered one regular and one spicy pork bone soup at the kiosk, added scissors and cups to the order, and helped ourselves to kimchi and diced radish kimchi at the self-serve bar. With generous bone portions and four spice levels to pick from, Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk suits a group whose tastes don't match.

I was looking for dinner in Ingye-dong, Suwon, and ended up going for pork bone soup. Since the place is open 24 hours, timing was no issue at all, and it seemed like a good spot to drop by whenever I was craving a spicy broth. That evening I ordered one regular-spice pork bone soup and one spicy pork bone soup.

## Where is Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch?

If you're looking for haejangguk (hangover soup) in Ingye-dong, I'd totally recommend this place! It started in Cheonan, and I heard a branch opened in Ingye-dong, Suwon, so I decided to check it out. After actually tasting the broth and the amount of meat, it turned out to be plenty filling for a dinner. The address is 52 Gyeongsu-daero 466beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Drama City 104, 105ho, South Korea. It's about an 11-minute walk from Exit 6 of Suwon City Hall Station, and about 4 minutes on foot from the Ingye-dong Community Service Center or KBS Suwon Center bus stops. Searching "Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk" on navigation apps makes it easy to find.

## Parking: basement lot free for 2 hours

There's parking space right in front of the restaurant, and you can also use the basement parking lot behind the building. It's listed as free for 2 hours, which made driving there feel a lot less burdensome.

## Inside the restaurant: seating for solo diners and groups

The restaurant felt spacious overall, with seats that weren't cramped together. There were also group-friendly spaces and private rooms available, so it looked comfortable for dining with several people. There were also seats set up for solo diners, so it seemed like a fine option if you're looking for haejangguk in Ingye-dong on your own.

You could add scissors or a cup right from the kiosk, which was nice since it meant you didn't need to flag down staff.

## What's on the self-serve side dish bar

At the self-serve bar, you could help yourself to side dishes like kimchi, diced radish kimchi, and pickled onions. These are all sides that go well with haejangguk, so it was convenient to take just as much as you needed.

When our pork bone soup arrived, the bones were piled up so high they poked out above the broth.

There was a lot of meat still attached to the bones too, so it wasn't just a broth-only meal. Paired with the diced radish kimchi, it was plenty for a full meal.

## How spicy is the spicy pork bone soup?

With the spicy version, you could taste the heat right away in the broth. That said, the flavor wasn't overwhelmed by spice alone — it worked well together with the flavor coming from the bones. If you handle spicy food well, ordering the spicy version should be a good call!

My friend said the spicy version was so good, calling it the best pork bone soup they'd had recently, and ended up ordering an extra bowl of rice to go with it, haha.

## Regular or spicy: which one should you order?

The regular-spice version had a lower heat level than the spicy one, letting the broth flavor come through comfortably. It was nice that people eating together could order different spice levels according to their own taste.

If you're trying to decide on a spice level while getting haejangguk in Ingye-dong, starting with the regular-spice version could be a good approach.

## Free ice cream after the meal

Once you finish eating, you get a free ice cream. After the hot soup, finishing with something cold felt like it cleared the palate. It was a nice, simple way to wrap up dinner.

## Final verdict on Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk

What stuck with me was the generous amount of bone in the soup and being able to choose your own spice level. Ordering both the regular and spicy versions together made it easy to pick based on personal taste. Being open 24 hours with parking available also made it convenient in terms of timing and getting there. If you want a hearty bowl of haejangguk in Ingye-dong, this place is worth considering.
