I went to Opus240 on the 2nd floor of Arcloud in Hanam Gamil. I visited with a friend right at opening time, 11am. If you're searching for Hanam Misa restaurants with steak, Hanam Misa Western food, or Hanam Misa brunch pasta, this is worth a look. That day I ordered bacon tomato pasta and gorgonzola pizza, and also used the salad bar.

To cut to the conclusion first: the sauces and seasoning weren't overpowering, so it was comfortable to eat.

## What are Opus240's opening hours and closing day?

Opus240 is open every day from 11am to 9pm. Last order is at 8:30pm, and it's closed every Monday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays there's a break time from 3pm to 5pm.

For this Chuseok holiday, the notice said they'd be closed Thursday September 24th and Friday September 25th, but open as normal on Saturday the 26th. It's worth double-checking the holiday notice before you go.

## Is there parking at Opus240, and how do you get there?

Opus240 provides 3 hours of parking, which was plenty of time for a meal. I entered through the Gamil Prugio parking lot and went down to basement level 1. While parking and looking for the elevator, I spotted a fairly large bowling alley.

Signs for the elevator, restrooms, and escalator were clearly posted in the corridor.

Once you take the elevator up to the 2nd floor, if you see the Arcloud GAMIL sign, you're in the right place. The 2nd floor corridor has continuous wood ceilings and herringbone flooring, which felt warm and cozy to walk through.

From the railing you can look down on a central plaza with pine trees. You can also come straight up via the outdoor escalator.

## Is there a wait if you arrive when Opus240 opens?

I went right at Opus240's opening time of 11am and the dining room was quiet, so it was easy to pick a seat. I got a window seat.

## What is the atmosphere like inside Opus240?

The copper pendant lights caught my eye as soon as I walked in. The black ceiling with square line lighting gave a calm feel, and tables lined up under a wood louver ceiling. Near the entrance there's an 8-person table separated by curtains and wood blinds. Near the salad bar there's a mint-colored glass wall, and behind it is a large kids room.

From the self-serve bar you get a clear, open view all the way to the window seats.

## Is Opus240 a good restaurant to visit with a child?

Inside Opus240 there's a pink-toned kids playroom. Since it's visible through glass, it was easy to keep an eye on my child while eating. Several high chairs were also on hand. A microwave and a baby dish sterilizer were grouped together on one side. There were also stickers for Wi-Fi info and Gyeonggi regional currency acceptance.

You order via a tablet at the table. Opus240 requires one menu item per person. The maximum stay is 3 hours, and there's a ₩3,000 food waste fee if you leave food.

If you're looking for Hanam Misa steak, the 240 Steak set is worth noting. We ordered other dishes this time, so I didn't get to try the steak.

Preschoolers over 36 months are charged ₩7,000 if they don't order their own menu item. We ordered the bacon tomato pasta for ₩13,000 and the gorgonzola pizza for ₩18,000.

## How does the Opus240 salad bar work?

The Opus240 salad bar is included at no extra charge once you order a menu item. About 20 items are prepared daily, including fresh vegetable salads, soup, and fried foods. Once you order, you take a plate to the bar yourself and serve yourself.

If you're looking for Hanam Misa brunch pasta, you're probably curious about the tomato sauce pasta. Opus240's bacon tomato pasta had just the right amount of tanginess — not overdone. The sourness never overwhelmed, so I could eat it comfortably to the last bite. The noodles were cooked just right, letting the tomato sauce flavor come through.

Opus240's gorgonzola pizza has such a thin crust that the dough barely had any presence — haha. That made the rich, savory cheese piled on top stand out even more. The edges were baked golden brown and stayed crispy. The pink radish pickle served alongside had almost no sweetness, which was good for cleansing the palate between bites of the rich cheesy pizza.

## How are the fried food, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and soup at the self-serve bar?

The fried items at Opus240's self-serve bar kept their crispy texture well. The onion rings and kim-mari (seaweed rice rolls) stayed crispy without going cold. The takoyaki had a soft interior. Topped with bonito flakes and sauce, they were easy to eat in one bite.

The sautéed mushrooms had a deep smoky char. The chewiness of the mushrooms combined with the smoky flavor kept me going back for more. The salad wasn't overdressed. The lightly seasoned greens salad kept a nice crisp, fresh texture.

The soup seemed to be corn soup. It was sweet with a smooth finish. The croutons on top added a nice crispy texture.

I wasn't expecting tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), so its spiciness was a welcome surprise — that day the self-serve bar didn't have any other spicy options, which I was a bit disappointed about. The flat fish cakes and rice cakes blended well in the spicy broth, balancing out the whole spread.
