## In short

It's MJ :) Back when Pyeongan was around 4, I went to Jeju Island for about a week... did I ever tell you that story? The one where I ate udon, noodles, udon, noodles, pork cutlet, udon, noodles for an entire week? ^_____^

Picking a restaurant with a kid is never easy — I just didn't know back then that it would still be true now that she's 10, haha. But what can you do, haha, I'm still her mom. So we ended up going to Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch to eat pork cutlet and udon, which my daughter loves haha.

Pork cutlet is one of the go-to dishes kids love, so it's a pretty safe bet, and being able to get udon alongside it makes it perfect for eating out with a child! If you're looking for a lunch spot in Millak to visit with your kid, this place is easy since the menu choices aren't hard to make.

## Where is Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch, and is parking free?

Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch is on the 2nd floor of the Jeil Punggyeongchae Centum building, right above the Starbucks Millak Town branch. I drove, so I entered the B1 parking lot of Jeil Punggyeongchae Centum (the Starbucks building), turned right, went all the way to the end, and parked near the MALL entrance!! From there you can take the elevator straight up to the restaurant :)

And parking is free for 1 hour, but you need to register in advance at the store counter, so if you're driving, make sure to check with them after your meal!

## What we ordered: Halmae Udon with mini pork cutlet, and a grilled pork belly rice bowl

This time at Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch, we ordered the udon + mini pork cutlet set, and a grilled pork belly rice bowl.

## Crispy mini pork cutlet and warm Halmae Udon: how did the 10-year-old like it?

The breading on the pork cutlet looked pretty crispy — mouthwatering just looking at it. It was fried a nice golden brown on the outside, so you could tell at a glance it would be crunchy.

It came with cabbage salad, rice, and pickled radish, and while my daughter never touches cabbage, I love cabbage salad, so it was yum yum good for me haha.

![A bowl of warm udon with hot broth](https://img.superchart.com/images/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch-10-iw8yt-900.webp)

But the highlight of the day was my daughter's reaction! She took one bite of the udon and gave me a thumbs up haha. Warm broth paired with pork cutlet — what more is there to say?

## The adult plate: grilled pork belly rice bowl with a side of chilled acorn jelly soup

When Pyeongan was 4, she couldn't finish a whole serving on her own, so we used to share udon and noodles, udon and noodles. Now she confidently eats a full serving by herself, so I got to order the grilled pork belly rice bowl for myself haha.

![Smoky grilled pork belly rice bowl](https://img.superchart.com/images/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch-11-bbhvo-900.webp)

![Close-up of the grilled pork belly in the rice bowl](https://img.superchart.com/images/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch-12-1qznx-900.webp)

If pork cutlet is the kid favorite, the grilled pork belly rice bowl was clearly the adult-palate dish. So full of smoky char-grilled flavor — this pork was so good! Filling to eat with rice.

![Seasoned bean sprouts and kimchi side dishes served with the rice bowl](https://img.superchart.com/images/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch-13-1i7rs-900.webp)

The side dishes that came with it also caught my eye. Seasoned bean sprouts, kimchi-type sides, and cool mukbap (chilled acorn jelly soup)! That one turned out to be a real hidden gem :)

It was plenty for a full meal. When eating out with a kid, we often end up ordering one kids' dish and one adult dish — being able to pick different menus like pork cutlet and a rice bowl worked well, since each of us could order what we actually wanted.

## Is Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch a good lunch spot with kids?

When choosing a restaurant with a kid, taste matters, but so does whether there are dishes both kids and adults can enjoy together.

![Table with pork cutlet and rice bowl eaten with the child](https://img.superchart.com/images/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch-15-hvru4-900.webp)

![Table set for a family meal at Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch](https://img.superchart.com/images/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch/yangchonri-donkatsu-minrak-udon-lunch-16-j0i9b-900.webp)

In that sense, Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch worked well for us — it has relatively kid-friendly dishes like pork cutlet and udon, plus rice bowl dishes that are good for adults, making it a solid pick for a family meal out.

Especially since my daughter ate the udon so well that day, it was a satisfying lunch from a mom's perspective. If you're looking for a lunch spot in Millak to visit with your kid, or a restaurant with pork cutlet on the menu, this one might be worth checking out.

If you're looking for a filling lunch to have with your kid in Millak-dong, Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch is worth remembering as a place to enjoy both pork cutlet and udon. If you're looking for a lunch spot for pork cutlet in Uijeongbu, it's also a good place to visit with your kid and settle a meal with the pork cutlet set. Next time, I'd like to try something other than the pork cutlet my daughter loves so much. 😊
