The place I visited was Suragan Tteokbang! Phone reservations recommended When I went near closing time, almost all the rice cakes were sold out, haha ㅠ Still, I was fine since I'd already reserved my omegi-tteok for pickup! I moved mine from the freezer to the fridge a bit before eating, and it thawed quickly and was perfectly cold and refreshing to eat. Try taking it out an hour before eating! Rather than too sweet, it's subtly sweet and plain, the kind of taste you keep reaching for! The rice cake itself is sticky and chewy, so the nutty flavor comes alive the more you chew. It's tasty straight out of the fridge, but if you leave it out at room temperature a bit, the rice cake softens and you get an even chewier texture!
