The place stretches back deep, so it's way bigger than it looks from outside — surprised me! High ceilings and cozy lighting give the walls almost a gallery feel~^^ The tables are generously sized with plenty of space between them, so you can eat without feeling crowded by neighboring tables. The whole place is super clean, which makes it great to bring kids along too^^

The wall interior made to look like Jeju basalt is seriously convincing, like real stone ㅎ_ㅎ It's been 3 years since I've been to Jeju, and coming here suddenly made me want to hop on a trip there.^^;

On top of the usual side dishes you'd find at any BBQ restaurant, there's pink sausage, macaroni, kimchi stew, and salted seafood — a table so full it could break its legs~^^ Having kimchi stew included as standard is such a great deal~ Personally, the whole cabbage kimchi was so good I think I'd have been satisfied just eating rice and kimchi without any meat~ㅎㅎ

We started with the mild mogsal (pork neck) — thick-cut but so tender that even the kids could eat it without any extra cutting. However they managed to grill it so perfectly, it's like not a single drop of juice escaped, and the savory flavor was pure art~~!!

Chewy, savory oegyeopsal that gets tastier the more you chew! The fat-to-meat ratio is just perfect!! The meat itself is so good that even a light dip in salted seafood is satisfying, and wrapping it in kimchi with a dab of wasabi is also amazing~

## Why the galchi sokjeot fried rice is a must-order

We gave the kids nurungji while my husband and I ordered the galchi sokjeot fried rice. I thought it would be a single portion, but it was plenty for two! Unlike fried rice at other BBQ restaurants, this one has galchi sokjeot (fermented hairtail fish sauce) mixed in, giving it a briny ocean flavor plus a distinct kick from the fermentation — every spoonful had me gasping in delight, it's that addictive. The meat is great, but if you go to this Sangnam-dong restaurant, Jeju Doldam, make sure you order this galchi sokjeot fried rice~!!ㅎ_ㅎ

A clean interior, a Jeju-vibe atmosphere, high-quality meat, and a wide variety of side dishes~! The whole family had a really satisfying dinner at Jeju Doldam Sangnam Main Branch. We ate so, so well.*^^*
