We both like fried chicken too, but we're really into oak-fired whole chicken. I don't want the kind sold out of a truck on the street, and once we found Gyeryugwan... we just head straight there, no questions asked haha. Inside Hwanghak Market, Sindang Station Exit 2 Come out of Sindang Station Exit 2, go into the Hwanghak Market entrance, turn left, and you'll spot it right away. Go in and turn left and you'll see it quickly. But guess what? We walked straight in this time haha. Wait times obviously vary by day and time slot, so keep that in mind when you visit!
