The tteokbokki we chose was Bubuduri's fire tteokbokki! Regular tteokbokki is great too, but if you're into mala flavors these days, and my boyfriend, who loves fire chicken flavor, couldn't pass it up — we went back and forth between original and fire, and picked fire haha! Look how smooth and bouncy it looks!? And you can't leave out the classic snack-bar combo of dipping sundae lightly in the tteokbokki sauce. You can put together a full spread with mala tteokbokki, chewy sundae, and Bubu fried snacks, and add draft beer on top for a proper late-night vibe!!!! They sell soju as well as draft beer, so it should also suit anyone who wants a drink with tteokbokki broth, sundae, and fried snacks as anju (drinking snacks). Setting down one mala tteokbokki with sundae and fried snacks on the side made for a good light drinking session. In particular, the fried snacks plus draft beer combo was the thing I liked most about this place!
