From a 3rd-floor seat at Baegya Coffee I had a café latte with crungi (a flattened croissant crisp), condensed milk pie and dirty Oreo cake while watching the sea, and the tables were set far apart. If you've come to the sea, you have to hit up an ocean-view café in Gangneung! You can park right in front of the building, or follow the side of the building up to the dedicated 2nd-floor parking lot. With no buildings blocking the view, you get a clear look at the East Sea from pretty much any seat — a real ocean-view café in Gangneung. The inside was just as spacious and pleasant as the huge exterior suggested. They even have my favorite Sanghamokjang ice cream. The view was too good.
