Stepping inside, the calm, deep dark-wood interior really stands out. It sits comfortingly alongside pots full of green leafy plants dotted throughout. Together they make the place feel almost like a well-tended botanical café, giving off a peaceful, settled kind of comfort. The greenhouse seat has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, so warm sunlight floods into the space — even sitting indoors, it felt like being outside enjoying nature. I settled in here to enjoy my coffee and dessert, and since the weather was clear, the photos turned out great too, with sunlight sparkling all around this pretty little space. ## Why the cone choco latte is hot only One menu item that caught my eye on the menu board photo was the cone choco latte! It comes with the latte poured into a crunchy waffle cone cup, where the cone itself is coated in chocolate and doubles as the cup. Because you're meant to enjoy it together with the chocolate coating inside, it's only available as a hot drink. The day I visited was a bit warm, so I sadly didn't get to try it myself, but it's such a unique, eye-catching drink that I saw quite a few nearby tables ordering it. A latte combining white chocolate and nutty almond cream — I was excited about this one even before it arrived. Whatever café I go to, I have to try the signature menu! Crushed almond bits are sprinkled on top of the drink. Biting into them, a nutty richness spread through my mouth. The flavor itself wasn't overly strong or intense — probably because it's built on a hand-drip coffee base, it was subtle and light. You get a rich, sweet-bitter flavor characteristic of high-end Valrhona chocolate, and combined with the salty pinch of salt sitting right on top of the financier, it made for the perfect sweet-and-salty balance! When you slice the bread in half, vanilla cream comes pouring out. Inside the sweet vanilla cream are almonds and macadamias, adding nuttiness and a nice chewy texture. Tearing off a piece of bread and dipping it into the sweet vanilla cream makes for an instantly happy bite. Since it was warm out, I ordered the coffee ice cream, and I really want to recommend this one! It's made with espresso pulled fresh in-store, so you actually taste real coffee flavor rather than anything artificial. It paired nicely with the chocolate chips scattered on top too. ## An easy stop after Chodang sundubu (soft tofu) Coffee Dripper is located in Chodang-dong, which makes it really easy to fit into your route. After a meal of delicious Chodang sundubu (soft tofu stew) or jjamppong sundubu nearby, you naturally start craving coffee, right? It's close by, so whether you walk or drive over, it's a great spot for a hand-drip coffee chaser.
