There's always that dilemma every time I go to Yeongjong Island — beach first, or food first? This time I ended up stumbling into somewhere while I was still deciding.

After this meal, honestly, the beach became an afterthoughthaha. The food was so good I kept thinking about it after?? I found this place while looking for restaurants near Inspire, and I felt like I'd properly found a real Yeongjong Korean food spot — weirdly proud of myself for it. Honestly, this one has to go on the Yeongjong Korean food list.

If you're into seafood stew around Eulwangni, save this one — you won't regret it.

Parking is roomy both in front of and beside the shop, so even new drivers wouldn't have any trouble.

Free parking was already great, and there was separate seating for pet owners too, so I saw quite a few customers there with their dogs. Places that pay attention to details like this earn extra points from me right from the start.

## The seaweed soup at 300°C Seafood Galbi is good enough on its own

There were a lot of menu options, but we ordered the haemul deunggalbijjim. Before the main dish arrives, though, they bring out miyeokguk (seaweed soup) and side dishes first.

Wait, what even is this seaweed soup?! The broth is rich and savory, and I just kept going back for spoonful after spoonful.

I usually don't eat rice before the main dish arrives, but here I genuinely almost mixed rice into the soup. That's when I already knew — today was going to be a flawless meal!🙂

## Haemul deunggalbijjim: short ribs off the bone with octopus and abalone

And then, the main dish arrived. My eyes lit up before anything else.

A big octopus sat right on top, with plump abalone, squid, roe, milt, and rice cake all piled generously into the pot — and the short ribs already had the bones removed, so you just pick out the meat with no hassle at all. Honestly, that's such a convenient touch.

A bite of meat, then a bite with bean sprouts on top, then wrapped in radish pickle — I kept switching combinations, and every single one was delicious.

I also added bean sprouts from the self-serve bar, and the crunch against the spicy sauce was the perfect texture combo. I lost count of how many times I went back to the bar for more. The bean sprouts basically became my favorite side dish.

The moment I tasted it, I understood exactly why it's known for seafood stew near Eulwangni.

## How spicy is medium? And why you shouldn't leave before the fried rice

Apparently the sauce here took 325 days of recipe development. After tasting it, that research clearly wasn't wasted. We ordered medium spice, and it was a bit spicier than Shin Ramyun but less intense than Buldak stir-fried noodles — a perfect level for us.

It wasn't just spicy either — there was a subtle smoky char flavor coming through, which made it more addictive the more I ate.

The sauce was so good I wanted to just keep scooping it up with a spoon. Which naturally led to one conclusion.

Fried rice, obviously!!! Leaving that sauce behind would've been such a waste.

We cleaned out the fried rice completely, and even though I was stuffed, I still found myself thinking about it afterward. The staff were really kind too, and it was a pleasant meal from start to finish.
