On a trip to Incheon Chinatown, I stayed somewhere with a genuinely odd name: Henn na Hotel Incheon Chinatown.

## Walking distance to Chinatown, Gaehangjang street and Sinpo Market

One of the things I liked most about choosing Henn na Hotel Incheon Chinatown was the location. Incheon Chinatown, the Gaehanggajang historic street, and Sinpo International Market — the essentials of any Incheon trip — were all close by, so I could explore on foot instead of hopping in and out of cars all day.

Chinatown, Sinpo International Market, and Gaehanggajang street are all about a 5-minute walk away, making this a genuinely walkable 'neighborhood-radius' stay. I could spend the day exploring Chinatown and Gaehanggajang, swing by Sinpo Market, then head back to the hotel in the evening to rest and play — which made planning my itinerary so much easier.

I originally found this place while looking for somewhere close to Chinatown, but once I stepped inside, it turned out to be more than just a place to sleep — it's a content-driven hotel packed with things to do in the room. Between the 100-inch screen, Nintendo, OTT apps, and rooftop barbecue, it seemed perfect for couples on a date, families with kids, or friends hanging out together.

### Parking and kiosk check-in at Isanghan Hotel

Parking in Incheon Chinatown is genuinely tough, so having a private lot at Henn na Hotel was a relief. Even if the lot happens to be full, staff said they'll arrange a spot if you call — zero parking stress, which I really appreciated.

Check-in was contactless too, done right at the kiosk, which was convenient.

## The 24-hour mini mart on the first floor

Something more useful than I expected: the first-floor mini mart. When you're in your room watching movies or gaming, you inevitably crave cup noodles, snacks, or a drink, right? You don't even have to step outside — the ground floor sells simple snacks, drinks, and alcohol, and it's open 24 hours.

## Rooftop barbecue in the middle of Incheon

Another space you can't skip at Henn na Hotel is the rooftop glamping barbecue zone. You can grill on the hotel's roof, so you get that campsite feeling right in the middle of the city without driving all the way out to an actual campground.

It's guests-only, requires a reservation, and the rooftop space has heating and cooling, so it works as a private year-round rooftop barbecue spot, even in peak summer or winter. That said, it runs on a reservation system, so if you want to use it, I'd recommend inquiring when you book your room. I checked in too late to try it — ㅠㅠ — but if you're going, definitely give it a shot!

## Try Gaehangno Lager while you are in Incheon

If you like a drink, the Gaehangno Lager sold on the first floor is worth checking out. A local beer you have to try when you're in Incheon!! It captures Incheon's local character, and it really suited the mood of the trip.

It's a local beer you can only really enjoy around the Gaehangno and Sinpo-dong area — not easily found in convenience stores or through delivery. The first-floor mini mart sells Gaehangno Lager at a reasonable price.

## Inside game room G04: more than just a strange name

The biggest feature of Henn na Hotel is that there's genuinely a lot to do inside the hotel! Just the Nintendo lineup has over 40 games ready to go. Couples can compete against each other, and families with kids can easily spend hours playing in the room without ever needing to step outside.

Something else I learned during my visit! According to hotel staff, the Incheon Chinatown branch of Henn na Hotel is the flagship location, run directly by the company's CEO. Maybe that's why it felt like the location that best embodies the content-driven stay concept the Henn na Hotel brand is going for. It felt like a hotel that had really thought hard about what guests should do while staying — games, movies, LPs, board games, barbecue, and more.

### The bed and memory foam mattress

The bed is a surprisingly important part of choosing a hotel. No matter how nice the facilities are, an uncomfortable bed can wreck the next day's plans. Henn na Hotel uses memory foam mattresses and hotel-grade bedding, with mattresses reportedly manufactured domestically by the company itself.

Lying down, the support felt genuinely comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a full day of walking around Chinatown and Gaehanggajang. Gaming and watching movies in the room, then drifting off on that plush bed — that's basically the perfect ending to a Henn na Hotel staycation, haha.

### Clothing steamer and room amenities

I chose a room with a clothing steamer, so I got to put on freshly steamed clothes the next morning — highly recommend picking a room with one!!

A hygiene gown was provided too.

Towels were plentiful, and there were 2 bottles of water in the fridge.

The bathroom was clean and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Best of all — there was a Samsung wind-free air conditioner!! I'm a big fan of wind-free mode myself. It gets cold in the room, so I loved running it in wind-free mode while I slept.

### The 100-inch screen, Nintendo games and free OTT apps

Personally, the giant TV was a highlight. It's just a completely different scale from a TV at home — even putting on one movie made it feel like I'd walked into a tiny private cinema.

With Netflix, Disney+, and other OTT content all available, I didn't need to go outside in the evening — just grabbed some snacks and binge-watched movies and shows. Netflix, Disney+, Watcha, and Apple TV are all included free, so you don't even need your own OTT accounts to enjoy them comfortably in your room — a real perk!

## Check for booking coupons before you reserve

Before booking, be sure to check for coupons or promotions on the Naver Reservation page. They apparently run various coupon events for Naver Reservation users depending on the season, so it's worth checking for available deals rather than booking right away. Hotel prices vary depending on the date and room type, so applying a coupon on top could make it even more reasonable.

My husband, hard at work gaming. As a gamer at heart, he seemed to really love that Henn na Hotel came with Nintendo.

## Who is Isanghan Hotel Incheon Chinatown best for?

Honestly, I went in thinking of this simply as 'a place near Chinatown,' but I was surprised by how much there was to actually do at the hotel itself. During the day, walk to Chinatown, Gaehanggajang street, and Sinpo International Market; back at the hotel, fire up a round of Nintendo; in the evening, grill on the rooftop or grab a Gaehangno Lager and watch a Netflix movie on the 100-inch screen — and that's a full day sorted.

- Couples who'd rather relax and date inside the hotel than run around all day
- Families looking for a stay their kids won't get bored at
- Anyone who loves gaming or OTT content
