Before heading to Inspire Park, the writer and her partner ordered Set A (39,000 won per person) and were served two whole Japonica freshwater eels along with woo-samgyeop (thin-sliced beef belly), galbisal, tosisal, buchaesal and sirloin, plus yukhoe (raw beef) and soy-marinated crab, with a 2-hour limit on any set that includes eel. Set A includes eel, beef, pork and yukhoe; Set B has eel, tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) and pork; Set C has beef, yukhoe and pork; and Set D has pork and dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken). Set A is ₩39,000, Set B is ₩34,000, Set C is ₩32,000, and Set D is ₩21,000 — really reasonable, letting you enjoy beef and eel together for around ₩39,000, or dakgalbi and pork all-you-can-eat for ₩21,000, so you can choose based on your budget and taste. There were plenty of side dishes to add on, and we also ordered a special dish alongside drinks to make the meal even more filling. Dipped in teriyaki sauce with sliced ginger, the eel was clean-tasting and savory, so good. The beef was also plentiful and varied with great quality, so if you visit Jangsodam, I'd definitely recommend going with Set A! (One small downside — the basic portions are so generous we didn't even get to the ramyeon.) ## How long do you get to eat at Jangsodam? If you're only doing pork, you get 100 minutes, but with eel included you get a leisurely 2 hours — great if you've got growing kids with big appetites at home. With rice balls and ramyeon also on offer, it was a great meal for properly loading up on protein.
