Busy at both lunch and dinner, with plenty of delivery and takeout too — this is a real galbitang favorite. The meat tastes even better dipped in the sauce haha. They're firm but simmered so long that the bones just slide right out. It's so disappointing when you go out for galbitang and the ribs are tough and flavorless, right? Finished the whole bowl If you're looking for a spot in Seomyeon to take your kid to eat, I highly recommend Gang Galbitang. Galbitang is already a great dish to share with kids, but with noodles, glass noodles, meat, and broth all in one, there's nothing missing — it works even for picky eaters. We went with our kid and they slurped down a whole bowl, finished!! This is a kid who won't eat meat if it's tough, and yet at Gang Galbitang, not a single complaint haha. Proof right here. We visited for dinner, and there were a lot of families with kids around us~ Seems like lunch is more solo diners and dinner is more families. This was my first time adding jungmyeon noodles, and I thought — oh, so this is what it tastes like! The noodles are chewy and springy? Hard to describe, but you should definitely try adding it. Apparently it's the same noodle used in Jeju's gogi guksu (pork noodle soup). Makes sense — apparently they get it shipped straight from Jeju ^^ If you like gogi guksu, this is a must! Writing this is making me want it again haha.
