Poached-egg jajangmyeon (10,000 won), black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk (28,000 won for the small) and mapo tofu came out together, putting one noodle dish and two mains on the table to share. ## Where Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is and when it opens

On a day I was craving Chinese food in Haeundae, I stopped by Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch. This time I ordered poached-egg jajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles), black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), and mapo tofu. Having one noodle dish alongside two cooked dishes made each flavor stand out clearly, and I kept going back for more until the very end.

Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is on the 2nd floor of The Sharp Haeundae Adelisse commercial building, 51 Marine City 3-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. If you're hunting for a Haeundae restaurant and need a Chinese place near Marine City, this location is easy to stop into. Hours per the entrance signage were 11:00 to 22:00, though it's worth double-checking on Naver Map before you go.

## What the dining room feels like

Walking in, the red sofa seating and round lighting caught my eye first. It keeps the tidy feel of a Chinese restaurant without being too heavy, so it's comfortable to sit and eat. The mood shifts a bit between the interior seats and the window side, so there was fun in checking out different spots. If you're looking for a Dongbaekseom restaurant and want the atmosphere to match the food, this place should fit well.

## Menu and prices at Bueokgan Chinese

I browsed slowly using the table order screen. There were meal dishes like BUUK jajangmyeon, poached-egg jajangmyeon, spicy jajangmyeon with fried rice, and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), plus cooked dishes like black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk, whole garlic yuringi (fried chicken), and seafood nurungjitang (crispy rice soup). Per the menu, poached-egg jajangmyeon was ₩10,000, and black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk was split into small at ₩28,000 and medium at ₩35,000.

When you're looking for a Marine City restaurant, it's nice to have plenty of options whether you're picking one dish to eat solo or sharing several. This place made ordering easy, with light options like jajang and jjamppong alongside heartier cooked dishes.

## How the poached-egg jajangmyeon tasted

I mixed the poached-egg jajangmyeon first. The generous onions and meat, plus the glossy chunjang (black bean sauce), blended well with the noodles. Breaking the poached egg in the middle added a savory richness from the yolk that softened the jajang flavor even more. If you like rich jajangmyeon but don't want it to feel too heavy, this one hits the mark.

### Black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork)

The black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk was crispy fried sirloin topped with black vinegar sauce, onions, and wood ear mushrooms. The tangy sauce hit first, and the crunch of the batter still held up, making it easy to pair a bite in between spoonfuls of jajangmyeon. It had a different charm from tangsuyuk served with a dipping sauce on the side, and would satisfy anyone wanting to add one more Chinese dish to the table.

### Mapo tofu at Bueokgan Chinese

The mapo tofu came out with soft tofu, mushrooms, and vegetables mixed into a rich sauce. Taking small spoonfuls, the softness of the tofu paired well with the spicy sauce. It was a nice addition to eat between the jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, and I liked ordering all three dishes together.

## The best combination for sharing

If you're after a Dongbaekseom restaurant or Marine City restaurant for a Chinese meal to share, I'd recommend the poached-egg jajangmyeon, black vinegar sirloin tangsuyuk, and mapo tofu combo. Filling up on noodles while alternating between crispy tangsuyuk and soft mapo tofu made the whole spread feel satisfying. If you're looking for a Haeundae restaurant for Chinese food at lunch or dinner, check out Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch.

After the meal, I'd also recommend taking a walk along the ocean around Marine City!
