Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang (안여사네 제철한상) is across from Cheongchun Kitchen in Sangnam-dong. It's about a 5-minute walk from Lotte Department Store Changwon and close to Euna Apartments too, so it seems a lot of locals from the neighborhood come here!

There were 2 parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but they were full, so I used the Sangnam Parking Lot right next door. They cover ₩1,000 of the parking fee haha

I visited on a weekday at lunchtime, and it was full, so I wrote down my name for a waiting number and waited. There's a parasol and chairs set up out front, so waiting was comfortable~

Naver reservations are available too, so if you're coming during the lunch or dinner rush, booking ahead should get you to your meal faster.

## Inside the restaurant and the group dining space

The day I went, the restaurant was especially hectic... there were so many customers that I couldn't really get proper photos of the interior T_T The place isn't big, but the space seemed well laid out.

It's not a fully enclosed room, but curtains create a relatively private space, and inside there's a table for up to 12 people, so it would work well for a company dinner or a family gathering.

There are coat hooks here and there between the tables, so hanging up your coat and bag should be easy!

Even the mannequin with the aprons hanging on it is wearing traditional clothes haha. And the owner was serving in a hanbok too, just like the Imocase chef from Culinary Class Wars?!

Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang seems to aim for a hansang (full Korean table spread) that doesn't feel heavy. Since it's a carefully prepared spread of seasonal dishes, they offer warm, easy-on-the-stomach home cooking rather than flashy, overly stimulating food~~ I thought it'd be really great to bring parents or older folks here.

I came with my mom, and she actually admitted the food was delicious haha. So proud lol

## Signature 10-dish set and the drinking-snack menu

The signature dish here is the Anyeosane Signature 10-dish set (10첩 한상). It's a filling meal of freshly cooked Yeongho Jinmi rice with 10 side dishes made from seasonal ingredients.

The juansang (drinking-snack table) menu, good for a drink with dinner, was a substantial spread with sundubu (soft tofu) hot pot, marinated cockles and jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork) haha. There's also a kids' donkatsu (pork cutlet) so little ones can eat comfortably at a family gathering—recommended for families too!

They were also running a special promotion. Order Boksoondoga or Masan Jeongjong and you get jeyuk bokkeum for free! Add a bowl of rice to that and isn't it perfect for a drink with your meal ^.^

I ordered 2 portions of the Anyeosane Signature 10-dish set. You can order a single portion of this menu, so it'd be good for solo dining too.

For the hot pot you can choose between spicy red sundubu and clear sundubu, but I was craving a clean~ broth, so I went with the clear one. Besides the soft tofu, it's packed with minced beef and all kinds of mushrooms, and I found it interesting that there was saeujeot (salted fermented shrimp) on top?! Saeujeot = the ultimate umami item, right?

I brought it to a rolling boil on the burner and took a spoonful of broth, and wow... it's really delicious ;;; The umami from the saeujeot and minced beef is insane. And I love mushrooms, and there were lots of kinds—wood ear, shiitake, enoki—so it was fun picking through them.

Then the gondeurae rice arrived—Yeongho Jinmi rice topped with gondeurae (Korean thistle) in a big ceramic pot >_< Totally proper health food~

Finally, the hot pot, the rice, and the 10 side dishes~~ You scoop the gondeurae rice into your rice bowl. It looks small, but there was quite a lot of rice. About 2.5 bowls' worth, I'd say.

The side dishes that day were kkomak muchim (seasoned cockles), jeyuk bokkeum, braised mackerel with radish, braised eggplant, white kimchi, japchae (glass noodles), squid jeotgal (salted squid), raw mideodeok (warty sea squirt), and namul (seasoned greens). The cockles and jeyuk alone are enough to polish off a bowl of rice, and there were plenty of other fresh, clean-tasting dishes too, which was nice haha

The tender braised eggplant~~ I don't like eggplant namul, but simmered in soy sauce like this it was soft and the eggplant aroma was really delicious?!

### Sundubu hot pot with a clam broth

But the best pick of the day, hands down, was this sundubu hot pot,, The longer it simmered, the richer the broth from the baekhap clams became, and I kept going back for more haha. Perfect for a hangover cure too!

And the jeyuk bokkeum was a chewy cut with just the right amount of fat, so it was tasty even after it cooled haha. There are no wrap greens, but it went well with the rice.

Lastly, I added the kkomak muchim to the leftover gondeurae rice and made a kkomak bibimbap-style dish haha. The cockle salad isn't salty and has lots of vegetables—a healthy taste! Eat it like this and you don't need to order kkomak bibimbap separately. I liked that I could mix and match things like a course meal.

At the counter there were after-meal candies and individual hygiene items, plus deodorizer and stain remover. Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang was just right for lunch—clean-tasting dishes that weren't too salty overall. They're open during the upcoming Chuseok holiday too, so families who can't be bothered to cook over the holiday!! It's a restaurant in Sangnam-dong that's open on Chuseok, so give it a visit >_<
