Hey everyone~! It's Foot Path! ✨

I was craving meat so badly this weekend that I headed to Euljiro Yeontan Gui, a charcoal pork restaurant near Gajeong Station in Luone City, Incheon! The thick pork slices grilled golden over charcoal were absolutely amazing, so I really wanted to tell you all about it haha.

There were still seats available at Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch at 6pm on Saturday, but by the time 6:30 rolled into nearly 7pm, the place was completely full in no time. If you're going during weekend peak hours, I'd recommend arriving around 6pm or earlier!

It's right in the center of the Luone City food alley, so it was really easy to find! The retro-vibe sign is visible from far away, which put me in a good mood the moment I walked up haha. Since it's gotten cooler now that it's fall, apparently they've also started selling salt-grilled jumbo shrimp~

We got to the restaurant around 6pm on Saturday! But once 6:30 passed and it got close to 7, customers kept pouring in and the place filled up in a flash! If you're planning to visit during weekend peak time, I'd recommend coming around 6pm or so.

## Tablet ordering trick: 500 won off the cheese add-on

If you're planning to top your scallops with cheese at Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch, choose the cheese add-on (₩2,000) together with the scallop menu option. If you order the cheese add-on separately from the side menu, it's ₩2,500 — so you end up paying ₩500 more.

Each table had a tablet ordering machine neatly installed, which was really convenient! You can pick your food while looking directly at the menu photos and prices, which makes ordering so much easier haha.

There were two of us, so we picked the 38,000-won pork platter and the 12,900-won plate of scallops first! And of course we also got the 4,900-won bibim naengmyeon, since you can't have meat without it! There's a really useful tip you absolutely need to know here!

When choosing your scallops, if you tap the cheese add-on within the menu option, it's ₩2,000?! But if you order the cheese add-on separately later from the side menu, it's ₩2,500 lol. You have to select cheese together with the scallop option right from the start to save ₩500! Don't miss this little tip — definitely keep it in mind!!

## Thick pork grilled over charcoal and the self-serve side dish bar

The 38,000-won pork platter comes with an assortment of different cuts, and at Euljiro Yeontan Gui Luone City Branch, every table comes with a charcoal grill built in as standard, so we could start grilling the moment we sat down. The basic table setting comes with a spicy bean sprout soup.

When I visited, every table already had charcoal burning as the default setup! You could basically start grilling meat the instant you sat down — such a great system lol.

I also checked out the self-serve side dish bar, where you can freely help yourself! The kimchi, bean sprouts, garlic, peppers, and lettuce wraps were all arranged neatly and cleanly! Besides refilling the basic side dishes provided, there are plenty of other dishes too, so definitely check out the self-serve bar! I was especially happy to find wasabi and pickled onions there ㅠㅠ It was so nice being able to help myself to as much as I wanted without feeling self-conscious!

+) They also had canned pineapple, and I was planning to have it for dessert but totally forgot and left without eating it... lol, still regret that one.

And finally, today's main dish — the pork platter — has arrived! The slices are unbelievably thick, and doesn't that bright red color look so pretty? ㅜㅜ

The meat comes in a variety of different cuts, so there's something for everyone regardless of preference!

They laid the thick meat and mushrooms sizzling onto the charcoal grill! Hearing the meat sizzle on the grill just naturally made me smile lol.

I picked up a well-cooked piece of meat and dipped it in the sauce! A mouthful of savory juices burst out, with the subtle scent of charcoal smoke wrapping around it! The texture was so soft and moist that I couldn't help but let out a sigh of admiration!!

Ever since visiting Euljiro Yeontan Gui, I've caught the 'charcoal-grilled meat really is different' disease.

I loaded up a fresh lettuce leaf with golden-brown pork belly, shredded scallions, and garlic, and took a big bite! The sharp garlic and tangy scallions blended so well with the savory pork — it was amazing ㅜㅜ

## Cheese scallops and bibim naengmyeon at a Korean BBQ restaurant

The 12,900-won plate of scallops is grilled on the charcoal grill, where you add cheese yourself. The 4,900-won bibim naengmyeon we ordered to finish comes with two quail eggs and a side of cold noodle broth, and you can choose whether to add cucumber when ordering.

After grilling up the meat and enjoying it, they placed the plate of scallops on the charcoal grill! You just add cheese onto the plump scallops yourself and grill them!

As the cheese stretched out from the heat and blended with the scallop meat inside, the briny savoriness of the seafood met the richness of the cheese and my mouth was in pure bliss ㅠ Isn't it amazing that you can enjoy such fresh grilled scallops together with your meat at a BBQ restaurant?!

And then the bibim naengmyeon arrived to close out the meal! The sweet-and-tangy sauce came with two quail eggs, and a side of cold noodle broth was served separately~ When ordering the noodles, you can choose whether to include cucumber or not! We left it out ><

I picked up a piece of meat I'd saved and wrapped it up with the noodles using my chopsticks — the spicy-tangy noodles cleanly cut through the remaining richness of the meat! Even the finishing side dish was thoughtful and complete — such a satisfying dinner!
