Close enough to walk home from, the couple returned and ordered the set that brings assorted sashimi and seafood stew together, with leek pancake, boiled pork, grilled fish and seaweed soup as banchan, then fried rice and coffee at the end. Leek pancake, boiled pork, grilled fish and seaweed soup all came out, and by the time we worked through each one, the table already felt full before the main dishes even arrived! Tuna wrapped in gim (dried seaweed) We started with the assorted sashimi, piece by piece. Sashimi really is best fresh!!! It had a chewy texture and ate clean, pairing well as a drinking snack. Seafood is delicious plain, but once you add the sauce, it's the ultimate drinking food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 A bite of sashimi, a bite of stew, a sip of soju in between — the meal turned out really fun. My husband and I like eating good food and drinking slowly, so this menu setup was especially our thing! Frying it up in the leftover stew sauce is basically a must-eat finale. Even though we were already pretty full, seeing the fried rice made room appear out of nowhere?! So funny. I thought about skipping it since I was stuffed, but I couldn't pass up the finishing dish, so I dug in properly.
