I was very curious about that dongpo pork chashu, haha, so I tried it first. As I chewed the meat, it melted in my mouth. The meat was really tender. Menya Seoul says it is ramen where the chashu shines, and I think that is true, haha. This dongpo pork chashu is really distinctive. Maybe because of the seaweed and katsuobushi (bonito flakes), the mazesoba also had lots of sea scent. I often have mazesoba with fresh garlic, but this one does not have it, so it lacks that sharp garlicky heat and is a flavor that even people who cannot eat spicy food can enjoy. A lot of care goes into this food! There are really lots of great places to eat at Yongsan I'Park Mall, but not many ramen shops.
